Montessori School of Herndon welcomes students regardless of race, gender, national and ethnic origin, and is non discriminatory in all our policies. We accept children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years.
There are no specific academic entrance requirements; however, we base admission decisions on many factors, especially your child’s age and suitability for our program.

The Montessori School of Herndon (MSH) was established in 1984 and is one of the oldest and best-recognized schools in Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Chantilly, and the Great Falls area. The Montessori School of Herndon inspires excellence without stress by teaching our students to value their own strengths and to make the most of their potential. Our teachers know each child as a learning, growing individual and seek to promote growth for a bright future.
Our Classes
We provide three classes for children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years.
Our classes range from Pre-K to Lower-Elementary because it’s never too early to get ahead. Our class sizes are small enough that each student receives the attention they need but big enough that our students can learn and grow together.
